When the holidays roll around, carriers get slammed — way more packages, same number of trucks. That means deliveries can take longer than usual, even when everything's moving along fine. Here's what to expect.
When delays are most common
- 🦃 Thanksgiving & Black Friday (late November)
- 🎄 Christmas & New Year (December – early January)
- 💝 Valentine's Day (early February)
- 🐣 Easter (March – April)
During these stretches, our usual 3–9 business day delivery can extend by several extra days depending on your location and carrier. It's the carrier networks catching up, not your order being stuck.
Your order is probably just fine
If tracking shows your package in transit, it's on its way — even if updates are slower than usual. Tracking scans can lag during peak periods, so gaps are normal and not a cause for worry.
What we recommend:
- Check your tracking every day or two
- Give it a few extra days before reaching out
- If your package hasn't moved in more than 7 days, get in touch → Order Not Received — Next Steps
On a subscription during the holidays?
If your renewal is scheduled around a busy period and you'd like it earlier (or later), you can adjust your next shipment date yourself in your account. A little planning goes a long way during peak season. → How to Change My Subscription Plan, Frequency or Flavor
Want it by a certain date?
If you need your Sea Moss in hand by a specific day during a holiday stretch, give it room — order at least 10–14 days ahead. Better early than waiting!
