Our gels are vacuum-sealed with no synthetic preservatives. That's a good thing — but it means storage matters.

• Keep it in a cool, dry place (a pantry shelf is perfect)
• Shelf-stable for up to 12 months unopened
• Expiration date is printed on the lid
• The button on the lid should be fully down before you open it — that means the seal is intact

💡 When you open the jar for the first time, you should hear a pop. That's the vacuum seal releasing — exactly what you want to hear.

After you open it

• Refrigerate right away
• Enjoy within 3–4 weeks
• Keep it cold at all times once the seal is broken
• Use a clean, dry spoon each time — dipping a used or wet spoon back in can introduce bacteria and shorten its life

Totally normal — and totally safe. Because there are no synthetic thickeners, the gel can loosen when it warms up in transit.
